Brief Description of the material in the website:
You can see to the video the simple way on how to derive the formula of regular polygon. Actually, you can search on it to the other source but I prefer to have a video so that students can really understand the topic and they can review if they can’t understand.

The use of internet is very useful especially now, everything you want to search can be seen and found into the internet and you can download it.

Maybe, not all can afford to access internet and they don’t have enough knowledge about technology or there are some students they don’t know how to operate.

My Reflections
1. Describe your experience in surfing the internet for appropriate electronic resources for the class? Did you find it easy or difficult?
     -for me, I did it difficult because in the internet there are many options/site that you can use for your reference but there are not all reliable, you have to read all over the source you found to make sure that your reference is true and correct, you have to get the best and accurate information.
2. How did you choose which electronic resources to include here? What did you consider? Explain.
     - For me I considered to choose which electronic I include by reading and understanding the content and look for the source if it reliable. If you’re looking for your topic to the internet you have to relate it and understand the content well.
 3. Reflect on your technology skills. What skills you already have and what kills would you continue to work on to be better at utilizing electronic resources?

    -since i have educational technology and other computer subject, I have the knowledge about  basic on how to operate other technology which helps big for me especially when doing my project and research. Every time we use technology we always learn from it.

After working on your handout, answer the following question:
  • What are the good features of a handout?
The handouts must have clearly goals/objectives because these will be the guide 
for the teachers.The handout must be well organized,specific and clearly defined 
without these handouts plan your teaching process will not be effective.

  • Which of these features are present in the handout I made?
The features that are present in my handout is organized and specific. Organized
because it has clearly stated what would be the first topic or what lesson
will be teaching and it is specific because you will include in your
handouts those important and needed in your topic.

  • Which features are not present in the handout I made?
Having these features in the handouts is very important and it helps big to the teacher
to make their lesson easy and more effective for their students.


My Reflections
1. What difficulties, if any, did you encounter in making the handout?
How did you overcome them?
- The difficulty I encountered in making handouts was how to make a proper handouts,
how i will arrange it, how i use a bullet form because I just printed my power point presentation.
I did overcome it because before in my edtech 1 we also made a handouts and also with the
help of the internet. Making handouts its a big thing to help the teachers on preparing
what to discuss.

2. What tips can you give teachers regarding preparation of handouts?
-I think the teacher must know their objectives first and what the lesson/topic is
all about .they should know the flow and what they want to their students to learn
so that it easy for them to make a handouts and everything will be arrange accordingly.

- As i observed the class the teacher used flash cards and cut outs in her
class.for me when I'm going to teach I also use that kind of materials when
I'm also teach the same subject because as what I saw to her class everyone are
actively participated in her class which means using other materials in the class
is important especially in lower level.

My Analysis
Give at least three benefits of doing a survey of available materials
before making your own materials? Explain each.

1.To identify the budget that you need so that you can prepare for the
materials you need.
2. To make sure that the materials I need are available or which may be needed
to substitute with other materials.
3. To define the advantage and disadvantage of the target materials in advance.

My Reflections
1. Which of the materials did you like making the most? why?
-for me, the cut outs because it was fun and it needs various color, picture and
sometimes different shapes.just draw or print a picture you like then post it into
your board. it is fun and students really enjoy it specially in the lower grade.
2. What difficulties, if any, did you encounter in making the materials?
How did you overcome them?
- The difficulty I had when cutting a different shapes it should made a proper shape
and sizes.It should also presentable and good looking to the students.
3.What tips can you give teachers regarding preparation of teaching materials?
- The teacher must know first what are the topics all about and what are the things
they need in making materials so that she can identify and budget all materials
she needs.

-since we already tackled slide presentation  last semester  in Edtech 1
i have the knowledge about how to make basic slide presentation but sometimes
I am confused to use other to enhance more my slide but because
we have now internet sometimes i use to scan and search on it.

On my observation in grade 4 class, at macabalan elementary school. The teacher taught mathematics subject .we all know that mathematics subject is really boring and there are only few students who love math .what she did to make her students participate in her class, she used colored picture and colored chalk  in presenting her lesson to get  the attentions  of her students. I can say that using different picture/colored picture is very effective in teaching because as I observed I can see the active participation of her students you cannot see that they feel bored and they don’t like the subject.

All the teaching materials used are appropriate to the subject taught. And also you have to make sure that the materials you used is informative and attractive to the learners.









 
  

My Analysis 2

1. What do you think prompted the teacher to choose the materials/learning resources that she/he used?
-Maybe, by the used of pictures/objects in her discussion she knows that this is her way to explain and she knows that students can easily understand the lesson if there is pictures included.

2. What difficulties, if any, did the teacher experience? How can this be managed?
-Handling many students with different attitudes/behavior is very hard thing in part of a teacher but it is their job/responsibilities to teach/impart knowledge to their students. One time, when the teacher said it is hard to have a student who is slow learner because you cannot move on to the next topic if there’s even one student who cannot understand your lesson. You really have your patience and love in what you are doing to stay longer in that profession.

3. Over-all, were the learning resources/materials used effectively? Why? Why not?
-Yes, I think the learning resources/materials she used are very effective in her discussion because I can see that the students are actively participating in her class. There is interaction between the teacher and students even the result of their quiz there are many students who got passing score.

My Reflections

1. Put yourself in the place of the teacher. What would you do similarly and what would you do differently if you would teach the same lesson to the same group of students? Why?
For me, I will do the same; I will also use different pictures and attractive materials in presenting my lesson. And I will give an activity and let them make a group and discuss/solve the problem and later on they will present it in front of their classmates and I’ll make sure that everybody will involve their selves in the activity and participate aside from that they are learning they are also given a chance to get along with others students.

the teacher use instructional material like cartolina/colored papers for making different shapes for her discussion so that her students would be interested and willing to listen because they saw different picture and colors.

-Yes,as what I've observed to their board display, they have different board design,some of them are good looking, attractive,and simple that 
student can relate to the topics.

2. Was the language used clear and simple for the target audience to understand? 
Why? Why not?
-Yes,as I saw the board display of pcc school, there some board display has a clear 
and simple that students can understand and relate the message and there are 
also other boards that they used small letters,light color and over design that 
you cant almost read the messages that they want to deliver to their students.

3. What do you think was the purpose of the board display? 
Was it effective? Why? Why not?
-Yes,I think there are so many purposes in making board display.
It can add beauty and set the social and psychological atmosphere of the school.
It can also give informational messages and encourage students to create 
and to have greater work when they see their work display. 

4. What suggestions can you make?
- When making a Board display it should be clean, well arrange,and attractive. 
just make your design simple and instructional.also minimize using small letters, 
light color in writing the words to emphasize the message/information 
that you want to deliver to the readers.. 


My proposed Board Display

Theme: Make fun and learn in music
Board Title: Music is fun
Rational:(purpose)
 To involve all the students in music and let them discover their different talents.
 lets make them feel that music is fun and also you can learn from it.

Objectives:
To involve all the students. 
To enhance more their talent and share it to everyone. 


Best features of my proposed bulletin enhancement:
-I will going to post all the activities for the month.the upcoming,the schedule, the pictures of students work and what other things they need to know more about music,so that everyone  will be aware of the activities.

Content Resources (Name each needed resource and give each a brief description):
  * different  Instruments picture-to give students an idea of what is the best 
     instrument they are going to use.
  *colored papers/cartolina- use to make letters and decoration of the board
  * printed materials-to give more attraction to the board
  * flannela-if there's a changes its easy to change or put another picture to give more and attract the students.

Materials for aesthetic enhancement:
-to protect the content and the decoration of the board, i will use glass to cover and also to maintain the beauty of the board.

My Reflections

1. Name at least 5 skill that a teacher should have to be able to come up with effective board displays.Elaborate on why each skill is needed.

  1.creative-as a teacher you have to be creative on what you are doing it is also important to considered the availability and the needs of your students.
  2.Attractive-when you make a board it should be attractive and in line with the interest of the readers.so that you will the catch their attentions. 
  3. motivational-It make sure that your board will give encouragement or motivation to the readers and they learned from it.
  4. Knowledge-you cannot perform/do this 1-3 if you don't have knowledge,before you make a board you have to think first what is best and fits to your readers.

2.Which of the skills you named in #1 do you already have? Recall your past experiences in making board displays. How do you practices these skill?

    - I think I have these creative,when I was in High School we always make a project in our own way.and I think I can perform it well even though its not really perfect but at least its my own idea and I made it with heartily.and until now i still used this skills. 

3. Which skill do you still need to develop?What concrete steps will you take on how you can improve on or acquire these skills.

 - I think, I still need to developed these 2 skills attractive,motivational.to Improve these skill I will constantly practice in making board display or even other projects so that when I'm going to make another one i can perform all of these skills and it really looks good.
